The Venue: Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens

Peter and I decided we would get married in South Florida even before we were engaged. We chose this because we wanted to be sure my parents would be comfortable. Now that we decided on a geographic location we needed to pick a venue. A few years ago I decided if I ever was to get married in Florida I was going to get married at this beautiful nature preserve where peacocks roamed freely around the grounds. Peter and I visited the location in August and we liked it, but we also visited the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach FL. We fell in love with that location and chose it over the first location. So there will be no peacocks on our wedding day, but there will be a beautiful lake and gorgeous scenery.

I hope you enjoyed this pictures and will be able to join us at the museum for our special day.

  1. We love the Morikami Gardens, too. We shared our first, gentle kiss in a bamboo forest with a soft rain misting down.

And although I love peacocks, too, they can give the most piercing shrieks at the most inappropriate time!

We can't wait to be there at your special day. So very, very happy for you both.

  2. These razor sharp blades are used in world famous gardens. In Japan, these hand pruners are probably the most used tool in a gardener's repertoire. These reliable hand pruners are some of the strongest clippers on the market, and they also retain their clean cutting edge for years. zen garden
